HVAC General Laborer

Job Duties: 

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Support service technicians by preparing job sites, handling equipment, and performing routine tasks such as pipe fitting, welding, and equipment repair.
• Learn to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate system setup and troubleshooting.
• Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues within HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems.
• Perform field service tasks including appliance repair, system inspections, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures during all phases of work.

Position Report to: Foreman/Project Manager

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (Hours may vary depending on job)

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Saturday-Sunday depending on job)

Job Locations: Varies depending on project location, typically within a 60 air mile radius of Faribault, MN

Pay: $25+ (depending on experience)
